Muaupoko Tribal Authority (MTA) is led by a Board of Directors made up of elected representatives from each of our seven hapū, ensuring that governance is firmly rooted in whakapapa, tikanga, and the aspirations of our whānau. Through hapū-led appointment processes, each representative brings accountability and cultural insight to the table, guiding strategic decisions, safeguarding tribal assets, and advancing wellbeing initiatives. Regular hui and transparent reporting uphold collective responsibility across the rohe, with kaupapa Māori values woven through every aspect of our leadership.
