Kia hiwa ra, kia hiwa ra!
Tēnā koe
Following on from our previous emails, Rangitāne o Wairarapa and Rangitāne o Tamaki nui-ā-Rua are again pleased to invite you on our journey around the takiwā to see the many significant sites which Rangitāne have negotiated as part of the Rangitāne settlement. Our first site visit took place in Masterton this past weekend and was a great success. The dates and details for the next two hikoi are as follows:
• Saturday 18 February 2017 – Dannevirke and Tamaki nui-ā-Rua area (departing from Mākirikiri Marae at 10am); and
• Saturday 4 March 2017 – Coastal area (departing from Te Ore Ore Marae at 11.30am).
We do note that for those attending from Masterton on 18 February, we will be arranging a bus to depart from Te Ore Ore Marae and travel to Dannevirke for the day. We will circulate details around this next week. As you may also be aware, Rangitāne Tū Mai Rā Trust is also convening a Special General Meeting to discuss and consider a number of Special Resolutions on 4 March 2017 at 10am. The site visit on this date will begin following this hui.
Seats are limited so if you would like to reserve your seat on the bus for any or all of the above listed site visits, please RSVP by responding to this email. The programme and any further information will be shared on our Facebook page and circulated via email next week.
Rangitāne, tū mai rā.
Ngā mihi
