Influenza Vaccination – FLU Jab to be provided by qualified THINK Hauora (Primary Health) Nurses Wednesday 15th April 2020
As part of the Iwi Alliance Flu Vaccinations, there will be another drive- through clinic being held in Levin for eligible whānau.
Eligibility:
– 65 years old or older
– Any age with a chronic illness or condition ie immuno suppressed, respiratory needs etc
– Hapū māmā
– High Blood Pressure
– Diabetes
– Cochlear Implant
– Undergoing cancer therapy
This vaccination will be delivered by qualified vaccination nurses via a drive – through facility set up behind Muaūpoko Tribal Authority Building in the service lane between the back of MTA and railway line.
DRIVE – THROUGH
Drive through means – the paperwork and flu vaccine will be provided through your car window from qualified Nurses from Public Health team who will be wearing personal protective gear.

The MTA Van and cones will be in place and each vehicle queues for their turn.
Public Health Rules under Level 4 Alert and State of Emergency are as follows:
Remain in your vehicle at all times
MUST only travel in car with those whānau members you are self-isolating with – no one else.
Whānau member(s) receiving the jab must be WELL ie not sick, not have a cold.
