On Friday 10 March the Minister of Education will introduce Te Rāngai Kāhui Ako ā-Iwi at the National Cross Sector Forum in Auckland. Te Rāngai Kāhui Ako ā-Iwi is an approach for ensuring our education system provides high quality and sustainable Māori language pathways for ākonga in Māori language in education. As iwi leaders and kaitaki of te reo Māori Te Rāngai Kāhui Ako ā-Iwi embraces the authentic contribution iwi can make to fostering Māori language in education.
